India will have Third Largest Internet Population by 2013

So now since you are reading this blog, you already know about the power of the internet. Forrester Research predicts that India will have the third largest population of Internet users by 2013, after China and the US . That’s a huge achievement considering the fact almost half of the population in India dont even own a PC. We are living in a society where most of our parents and elderly have no idea why we stick online for days at end. But still here we are at the brink of an online evolution which will take us to a new level altogether. India’s current internet population is about 60 million, and new estimates have put that Indians will be the third largest group online by the year 2012.

Also it is news that India has more twitter users than China. Isn’t it great? That shows our needs to be recognized and admired online too. Recent findings have also confirmed that India will have the third largest consumer base online.
So now that we know Indians are all over the globe, not only in real but also virtually, it would be great if we start an online revolution of a kind. And believe me with the pace at which we are growing, that day isn’t far.
